The 34th annual Seattle International Film Festival will run May 22 through June 15 at a number of venues around town. Opening night, at McCaw Hall, will feature Stuart Townsend’s “Battle In Seattle,” a drama about the 1999 WTO protests partly filmed in Seattle. Writer/director Townsend and stars Charlize Theron and Martin Henderson are scheduled to attend.

Stuart & Charlize will be attending the 10th Sarasota Film Festival, held April 3-14th, 2008.

Battle of Seattle has been chosen as the festival’s closing film.

The SXSW Film Festival that runs March 7 - 15 at Downtown Austin, has Battle in Seattle listed as one of the Spotlight Premieres at the venue.More information about the film festival can be found at the official site.
